Our client faced a significant challenge: they had purchased a cutter suction dredger that couldn’t cut through the hard quartz in the ground. This caused delays, inefficiencies, and extra costs, as the machine simply didn’t deliver the performance required for their project.

Our approach

​When approached, we conducted a thorough analysis of the power and modifications needed for effective operation in the client’s specific conditions. We then selected a second-hand cutter suction dredger and performed a complete overhaul, reinforcing it with special attention to:

• Optimizing the cutter head for better cutting capacity in hard ground.
• Strengthening critical components to minimize wear from the quartz.
• Upgrading the pump system for efficient processing of the dredged material.
